Yazan Hawari, MD
Dr. Yazan Hawari is a resident physician with an interest in pursuing a career in medicine centered on compassion and equity in healthcare. He graduated from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Yazan arrived in the United States in Los Angeles, where he volunteered with several organizations serving the community in the Inland Empire. These experiences strengthened his commitment to improving access to care and supporting underserved populations.

As someone relatively new to the United States, he valued finding a supportive training environment with engaged leadership and collaborative co-residents. The program’s diversity and sense of community stood out to him during the interview process. His professional goal is to become a well-rounded physician who provides compassionate, high-quality care while actively supporting and serving the community. He is particularly interested in contributing to healthcare systems that emphasize continuity of care and support for diverse patient populations.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hawari enjoys swimming, soccer, running, gym workouts, and cooking. He is also passionate about community service and has participated in volunteer initiatives and nonprofit work in Southern California.
