Dominique Salido, is a mission-driven Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience providing services to children and families, adolescents, adults, and older adults, in environmental settings such as schools, homes, hospitals, long-term skilled nursing facilities, and community mental health clinics.

She is skilled in biopsychosocial assessments, protective/risk assessments, treatment planning, collaborative consultation, psychotherapy, crisis management, safety planning, and grief and bereavement. She is knowledgeable on co-occurring diagnoses and working with diverse cultural backgrounds.

As a Social Worker, she specializes in engagement, assessment, and providing treatment to the geriatric population. Prior to San Antonio Regional Hospital, Dominique provided individual psychotherapy to older adults and supervision to unlicensed staff in a community mental health outpatient clinic.

One of her strengths is patience in which she takes the time to provide compassionate quality care and services, using a strengths-based perspective. She believes respect and collaboration with her patients allows an opportunity to make progress towards individual goals and improve overall well-being. She is committed to empowering individuals, encouraging self-advocacy, and is motivated to renew hope in others.
